Cerebral Palsy is a type of disability that affects movement and muscle tone and can have a very wide range of severity and impact on day to day life.  Cerebral palsy or CP is one of the most common diagnoses for the "Other Angels" on Reeces Rainbow.  Please consider searching for these awesome kids by searching "cerebral" on reecesrainbow.org since I can only highlight a few  today.

Jojo lives in Asia and has such a beautiful smile!  She is only eligible to be adopted until her 14th birthday, in July of 2014.  Please help find her family very soon!  More information at http://reecesrainbow.org/68341/jojo

Salome has a large grant for her adoption (when a recent matching grant it added it will be over $10,000) and a big fan club hoping that her family finds her very soon.  More information at http://reecesrainbow.org/59327/salome

Love for Kids with Cleft Lip or Cleft Palate

This week, I will be focusing on more of the Other Angels on Reece's Rainbow that are eligible to be given Love Notes during February.  Specifically, this week Feb 8-14, I will be focusing on kids with Physical Impairments.  First  up, kids with Cleft Lip or Cleft Palate.  Although every child is different, this is often considered a more "minor" special need in many instances.  Please consider spreading the word, donating to, or bringing home one of these precious ones.
First up is Eliah!  He lives in Asia and will lose his chance to be adopted on his 14th birthday in March of 2014.  As in, next month!  Please please help get his face out there so his mom or dad can see it. http://reecesrainbow.org/69483/eliah has lots more information.
Kathleen is 9 or 10 and lives in Eastern Europe.  Her cleft palate has not been repaired and therefore she is not able to communicate through speaking.  She is described as sweet and cheerful and has a grant of over $2000 to help with her adoption.  Please see http://reecesrainbow.org/52247/kathleen for more information.
Kyra is a seven year old in Eastern Europe with several special needs including cleft lip and palate.  There has to be a family out there for Kyra that will see through a written description and find their daughter waiting to be loved.  http://reecesrainbow.org/67751/kyra
Gene is an eleven year old boy living in Asia and waiting for his turn to be adopted. He understands adoption well as he has seen several of his friends be chosen in the past few years.  Please consider starting out his grant (he has a pesky $0 at the moment) or bringing him home.  More information at http://reecesrainbow.org/71268/gene-2

Rose is only three years old and at least at the time of this picture was in need of some corrective surgery.  Please read http://reecesrainbow.org/71821/rose-2 for more information about her.

Please read more about her here: http://reecesrainbow.org/71675/elizabeth-2
Daniel has congenital cataracts and will turn 14 in March of 2014!  He is described as respectful, gentle, and helpful.  At this point, Daniel would need to be added onto an adoption from his country already in progress.  He has a grant over $2000 to help with his adoption. Please help spread the word! http://reecesrainbow.org/69044/daniel-2
Sarah also lives in Asia and will age-out when she turns 14, in November of 2014.  Her time is ticking away, please consider her! http://reecesrainbow.org/69159/sara

Love for Kids with Autism or Autistic-type behaviors

Many kids who currently live in orphanages or foster homes overseas display autistic-type behaviors.  Sometimes these behaviors are related to being institutionalized and change gradually once children are home.  Sometimes these behaviors are a permanent part of the life of the child- part of their unique makeup.  Today's featured kids are some of many that can be found by searching "autism" or "autistic" on reecesrainbow.org.  Please consider giving directly to one of these kids, giving Love Notes to someone this month, or adding them to your family.

This is Luca.  He is 8 or 9 and lives in Eastern Europe.  Please check out some detailed information at http://reecesrainbow.org/67163/luca.

Sarahfina is 8 and lives in an orphanage in Asia.  More info about her is at http://reecesrainbow.org/71218/sarahfina
Roger is a 7 year old in Eastern Europe. He has some vision issues, mental delays and possible childhood autism.  Please read more about him at http://reecesrainbow.org/26627/roger.
This is Yahto, a 4 year old living in Africa.  He has celebral palsy and some features of autism.  Yahto was part of a set of triplets and was abandoned because he was sick.  Please consider him! http://reecesrainbow.org/67617/yahto
Justine is 12 and lives in Eastern Europe.  Her documentation suggests autism, microcephaly, and possible   Fetal Alcohol Syndrome. Please read more about here at http://reecesrainbow.org/1704/justine112

His info is at http://reecesrainbow.org/41855/wesley-2
