Love with Kids with Fetal Alcohol Syndrome

This week, Feb 15-21, 2014 is going to include a focus on kids with cognitive and developmental delays.  Although many children brought home have some form of "orphanage delays," these children are ones with documented mental, cognitive or developmental delays.  I have divided them into several groups over the week depending on the wording in their profiles on reecesrainbow.org, but please know that these are probably artificial distinctions.  Thanks!

Today, the focus is on children with diagnosed or suspected fetal alcohol syndrome.  Like many disabilities, there is a huge range "normal" with these awesome kids.
First up is Brittany, a favorite in our family! Brittany lives in Eastern Europe and is eight years old.  Brittany loves to sing and dance and has been asking for a mama.  Please consider her.  Information including a link to a video of her is at http://reecesrainbow.org/12956/brittany5802.

This is Riley!  He is 5 years old and lives in a different country in Eastern Europe.  He does not have the most positive description, but needs a family that can see him for what he is, a boy in need of a loving family.  His profile is at http://reecesrainbow.org/66881/riley-l.

UPDATE: KASMIRA NOW HAS A FAMILY!!!!
Next up is Kasmira, who will turn 2 years old in March of 2014.  She lives in Eastern Europe as well, and is diagnosed with FAS, a heart defect, and developmental delay.  Please see more at http://reecesrainbow.org/63783/kasmira-l.
Andrew is 12 years old and lives in Eastern Europe.  He is one of many who "shows characteristics of FAS" without a confirmed diagnosis.  Please read more about him here: http://reecesrainbow.org/1427/andrew108
Sarai is 10 or 11 and lives in Eastern Europe.  In addition to being diagnosed with FAS, she is also HIV+.  Please help Sarai find the family that is a perfect match for her.  More pictures and information are here: http://reecesrainbow.org/52614/sarai
Finally, Ginger and Jamie are twins living in Eastern Europe.  They are six years old and must be adopted together.  There is a grant of $4620 to help with their adoption as well. There is lots of information, including a description from a family that met them, at http://reecesrainbow.org/41347/ginger-jamie-twins
